Great post, thank you for sharing. I've dealt with both in the past, and reading this is a good reminder to recognize when depression or anxiety are returning (they never really go away fully).

I could tell you about the things that helped me (very briefly: medication, meditation, self-discovery, and self-acceptance) but in the end we all have our own paths to walk. So I just hope you know that I really enjoy reading your blog and hope you find some way to reduce the depression and anxiety (or at least the frustration with them).

Thanks! This meant a lot. I do basically all of those, and I'm getting my medication adjusted, so hopefully this is temporary. It does slow my posting waaayyyy down, which I don't like, but we play the cards we're dealt. I hope you're doing well with your own journey!
